Stertil UK Supports Young Judo Athlete on International Stage

Stertil UK is proud to support rising young athlete Keira Cornell as she prepares to compete at the prestigious International Judo Tournament Venray in the Netherlands this June.

Now in its 51st year, the tournament attracts talented judoka from across Europe and beyond, providing a valuable opportunity for young competitors to gain international experience.

Keira, aged 14, is the daughter of Kelly Dearman, a valued member of the accounts team at Stertil UK. Her selection to compete marks an exciting milestone in what is already a promising judo journey. This will be her second appearance at an international tournament, reflecting her continued progress and dedication to the sport.

Alongside her competition schedule, Keira trains at least twice a week with Northampton Judo Club, and has recently achieved selection for the 2025–2026 Pre-Cadet (Group 1) England Development Squad through British Judo Association. This programme is designed to support the development of young athletes with the potential to represent England and Great Britain at an international level.
